bewaeltigung: (Shut your face)

There was total darkness on the feed. The only noise was panting, angry snorting, and the shifting of stone. Pebbles fell in the darkness sounding in small clacks as the person in the video feed uhm,,, worked? It was totally dark, there was no way to know just what was happening or who this was. There was just the heavy breathing. And after a few minutes there was a pounding. Whatever was on the feed was angry about being in the dark.

A few minutes of this and suddenly the wall broke down. Light poured in and lit up the video feed. It was the catacombs, easily recognizable to any of its former prisoners. It was a loosely built up stone wall. Or it was. It was now in a pile on the ground while the would-be prisoner heaved and angrily shoved more rocks aside with his might. Germany was pouring all his energy into bursting out of the labyrinth as a sort of Hulk. After about ten minutes of beating the opening wide enough for him to escape he paused... caught his breath... grabbed the watch and headed outside into the light]

[A logical point, really.] You stated you are the area of the ruins, correct? I should be able to locate you by observing the area around you in the watch feed.

[With that panoramic view, its easy for Spock to head towards the ruins. He had passed through this area once before, when Captain Kirk was still in the city. They had passed by the area he now found Ludwig at.] Your watch rotation was most helpful, Ludwig.

[Spock may not be a linguist like Lt. Uhura, but he recognized manners when he heard them. He approached Ludwig quickly, surveying the injuries.] You are welcome. Judging from your physical injuries, you need only to have them cleaned and covered.

I do not believe I can do this here. However, the clinic is not too far, if you are able to walk without complete discomfort. [He finishes his inspection and looks at Ludwig, face as serious as ever.]

I have found that in a city such as this, it is best that the citizens help one another as best as we can as we are all we have here aside from the creatures and captors.

[Spock gestures with a hand before taking a few steps and checking to see if Ludwig was following him. If anything, he would try to support him if he could.]

[Spock leads the way a bit before falling back to walk next to Ludwig, in case he should need any support at any time.] I took shelter within the library. The city itself is rather battered, but the others have been cleaning up the damage as of late. I am uncertain if it was due to the captors or nature - it was a surprise that grew as more creatures went through the city.

Medical teams have been dispersed as best throughout the city to help with injuries and others are getting wounded to the clinic for more intensive care. I have been righting the library and attempting to fix up the structure as best as I can.

[He considered the library his home now, and would strive to keep it as well maintained as possible.]

You should help after you have completely mended. There is no logic in working while you are injured, as that would cause more injury and prolong your recovery. [They finally make it to the clinic and Spock opens the door for him.]
